C.C. Sabathia is close to signing a record-breaking deal with the New York Yankees. Which means the Vallejo native isn't coming to the Bay Area. And, contrary to GM Dodger's belief, he doesn't want to be a Dodger either.

Can't say I'm TOO disappointed. It would be cool to have him in the rotation, but not at that price. And he definitely isn't going to make the offense go round.
